About Lend Lease

 

Lend Lease is an international property group with broad skills across the property value chain. Headquartered in Australia, we operate three core businesses: project management and construction, property investment management and property development.

 

Our key markets are Asia Pacific, Americas, the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East. We operate an integrated business model and our earnings are well diversified by both market sector and geography.

 

Lend Lease Corporation Ltd acquired the highly coveted Somerset site from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) in August 2006. Retail assets on Orchard Road were tightly held and this site represented one of the last prime retail developments released by the Singapore Government on Orchard Road.

 

With this acquisition, Lend Lease now has stakes in one of each type of mall in Singapore – a premium shopping mall on Orchard Road, a niche mall in the city fringe (PoMo) and a very successful suburban mall (Parkway Parade).

313@somerset is one of the first major fully integrated retail developments undertaken by Lend Lease in Asia. It is a significant milestone for the Lend Lease Group as it marks its first green field development in Asia and its first development in Singapore’s premier shopping street – Orchard Road.
